Tweets of Gold November 23rd

    Our chart this week finds a new number 1 on debut Christopher Tvarne.He tweets some great photography tips and photo posts so if your into photography get on board.Nataly creeps into the number 2 spot.While Edna,Autumn,Manz and Katherine all slowly climbing.Bryn is still holding in there at number 3.Our number 1 prediction is Fleur from Norway with her fashion and photography tweets. Sending out love and good wishes to Reine, Christine and all my twitter friends can't find a place for everyone but we have a lifetime.

  Building a Good Twitter Relationship

Number 1 Be Yourself

2 Twitter works like conversations do, if you're too quiet, you'll be forgotten and people will look for someone else to talk to. Make sure you stay active on Twitter, share others' content, send direct messages.

 3 Your Twitter followers will create expectations of you based on the type of tweets you've made in the past. While it's certainly acceptable to tweet out of left field, it's more important that you consistently build your presence. As people develop friendships with you, they become a retweet friend. You need to build your own online presence to boost your retweets.

  4 While you don't want your Twitter stream to simply be a list of self-promotional links and updates, there is no reason why you can't include some self promotional tweets each day, particularly if the links and updates are useful to your followers.

   5 Have you used a new Twitter tool you really like? Did you see a new movie that you want to tell other people about? Remember, Twitter is all about building relationships, and your recommendations and reviews are just another piece of the puzzle that helps your followers develop a relationship with you. Don't be afraid to share your opinions.

    6 People love to share their knowledge. Ask a question and your followers might just answer you!

Perfect for a quick climb, a slow meander or for training in snow/ice in the winter.  As my dad must have thought I totally agree this mountain is perfect for a family climb with it's wide paths, glorious views and (if clear) view of future climbs from the top.

Twitter Tips for Beginners

1 Put thought into your Bio
2 Use some interesting images for your background that says something about you.
3 Always be Yourself
4 Engage with people by making small positive comments on their tweets that interest you.
5 Try to post three or four tweets a day so people know that you are alive.
6  If a follower interests you or you have things in common try following a dozen of their followers.
7 Take note that the people you follow have tweeted within the last couple of days. You don't want to be following people who rarely tweet unless they are close friends.

Twitter Lists Help

   Sort your followers into groups with Lists.Some ideas are a celebrity list where you can follow celebrities without having them in your main stream.You don't have to be following a person to have them on your list. Just list them and then unfollow them.
 

When you get listed try following people in that list they maybe someone who has the same musical taste or sense of humor.If someone has listed me I always try to find a place in one of my lists for them.
Don't forget you can list yourself in your own lists.I usually list my self in the lists that i have people who i really enjoy.Hope this has been some help.
You can have a sport list,music list,tweeters that make you laugh list. Try to be inventive when naming your lists. E.GSupersports,MusicMaestros,Thejesters.
